I've tried with 2 different macs and both drop out after a few minutes when connected via the 5G wifi network. If I connect the mac by LAN cable to the router directly, AirPlay works fine. I also tried unchecking "Enable WMM (Wi-Fi multimedia) settings" as suggested in this thread and it didn't help. Apr 21, 2020 · Performance problems with AirPlay and AirPlay Mirroring.
